it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our music classroom is filled with energy, creativity, and eager learners ready to make music with whatever tools they can find. With your help, we can bring the excitement of bucket drumming into our school, giving every student a hands-on, engaging way to explore rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression.
Bucket drumming is more than just fun—it’s a powerful, accessible form of percussion that allows students to build musical skills without the need for expensive instruments.
These sturdy, portable buckets and drumsticks will allow students to develop coordination, rhythmic precision, and listening skills in a collaborative, high-energy setting.
Many of our students have limited access to private music lessons or personal instruments. Bucket drumming levels the playing field, making it possible for every child, regardless of background, to participate fully and feel the joy of making music together.
From call-and-response patterns to full percussion ensembles, students will be able to drum, move, and create in ways that support their musical growth, physical coordination, and confidence. Your support will help us bring Buckets of Beats to life—turning simple materials into powerful learning experiences.
