My Project
I would like to give my students the opportunity to learn more about drumming in the elementary classroom. I currently do not have enough tubanos to service full classes at a time, and I have had classes showing great interest in learning more drum technique. Drumming takes a uniquely specialized learning process and is proven to help build focus skills and self-regulation in children and adults. My students are so lucky to receive one on one time learning nearly all other instrument families, and I would be so grateful to focus on bucket drumming and more drumming techniques with these materials.
