Our school's Lego Club just started earlier this school year. We have been using basic Lego's to complete challenges. I am wanting our more advanced group to complete a research project along with building Lego's. Students will collaborate and choose which architecture kit they will be working on the for semester and then complete small research projects before building. This will give the students more insight into what they are building and the history behind each one.
Due to the nature of these architecture kits students will need to demonstrate grit, perseverance, resilience, problem solving, critical thinking, and self management.
Specifically, students will be working on personal responsibility (HE.68.R.2.4, HR.68.R.2.8) and critical thinking and problem solving (HE68.R.4.2, HE.68.R.4.3, and HE.68.R.4.4)
