Brrrr...It's Cold Out There!

My students need indoor recess activities such as games, blocks, puzzles, and play doh when the snow and cold keep us from going outside.

My Students

Who wants to be stuck indoors during recess time?! If the cold and snow are going to keep us inside during the winter, please help us have fun, learn, and create during the recess time we earn.

My students are smart, eager, energetic, fun loving second graders in a high need, inner-city public school.

My children work hard all day long listening, learning, and doing. Their hard work deserves a reward... recess! Having engaging, fun, hands-on, creative activities will motivate them to earn their recess time.

My Project

With new indoor recess activities, games, and puzzles my students will be encouraged to do their best throughout the day so they can earn their recess time. During their recess time they will be able work together on a floor puzzle with a friend, draw or paint beautiful pictures, play with play dough, build, and play games. Recess is an excellent time for children to interact with each other, work on social skills, be creative, and have fun.

My students would truly love to have fun and exciting things to do when we are unable to go outdoors for recess.
