This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to support my students not just academically, but emotionally and physically as well. As winter approaches, I want to ensure my students have basic cold-weather essentials. These beanies, sweatshirts, and socks will be given as a holiday gift, bringing both joy and comfort to our students.
Many of our students come from low-income households and may not have adequate winter clothing.
Winter is a difficult time for many of my students, both financially and emotionally. A small gift, like a beanie, sweatshirt, and socks, can make a big difference by keeping them warm and reminding them that they are supported by their school community.
