My students do not have the appropriate clothing needed to stand in the cold and wait for the buses in the morning. These scarves, gloves, and hats will help keep them warm and safe.
This year, I teach a very loving, active group of 16 second graders.
They love to learn new skills and expand their knowledge. They are very active and love to be on the move!
Our school is in a small, rural town in Tennessee. My school currently enrolls just under 1,000 students from Pre-K to 4th grade. The majority of our students receive free/reduced price lunch.
My Project
My students love to come to school and learn. As the weather starts to get colder, they will be waiting for their buses without the appropriate items needed to stay warm. I would love to give my students scarves, gloves, and hats as a Christmas present this year! They seriously need these items to help stay warm and safe during this cold season. Our area had below freezing temperatures this past winter, and we are expected to have the same this year. My students need these items to help stay warm while they are traveling to/from school.
I am also asking for some small fun items to help fill their Christmas Stockings this holiday season. They will love the bookmarks, mini notebooks/pencils, tattoos, and activity books!
My students need to be in school everyday.
The scarves, gloves, and hats will help keep them warm and safe while they travel to/from school. Plus, it will be a really nice Christmas gift!
