Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a dual-immersion school. The majority of my students are children of recently immigrated families from Central America.
Since it's rainy and cold, I'd like to collect fun games for my students to enjoy when they can't go outside to play.
We brainstormed what they'd like in the classroom and came up with this extensive list, including items such as Twister, remote control cars, and Uno. Many of my students are from very low income families and don't have a lot of games to play at home. Please help make our classroom a joyous environment they look forward to coming to every day.
