My students need tickets 90 tickets to visit the King tut exhibit at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. They also need 10 adult tickets for their chaperons.
ART! In my classroom, we take adventures around the world and journey back in time. My students learn about art from photographs, videos, games, and of course creating art of their own! My students learn how art, music, social studies, math, science, and language arts all interconnect and help us to understand our exciting world.
My students LOVE to study the culture and art of ancient Egypt! They have so many great questions and really enjoy exploring pictures of mummies and pyramids or writing secret messages in hieroglyphics. My students are always asking me extra questions about who King Tut was and the mystery surrounding his life. They even involve their parents in researching the topic of Egypt by taking trips to the library together and bringing books to class that they found.
I want to surprise my students by taking them on a trip to see the amazing new King Tut exhibit at the Children's Museum. I told all of my students that the King Tut exhibit will be in town next school year. I will only be taking next years 3rd graders to see the exhibit. They have no idea that I'm planning this amazing trip for them. The 4th and the 5th graders already have special field trips planned for the year so I really want to do something special for my 3rd graders to make their elementary school experience unforgettable.
With your help, my students lives will be greatly impacted forever. Most of our students do not have the resources available to visit the museum. Many have never been to a museum. The students will be able to view priceless artifacts from an ancient culture that most of them will never have the opportunity to view again. By supporting our students, you will help teach them that learning is not just for school, it is a lifelong process that can be very fun and rewarding.
