Help me give my students an experience they will never forget. We are looking to create a baseball team next season and need some basic equipment for our student-athletes to be successful including helmets, bags and batting gloves.

My Students
We are a newer school in NYC created just six years ago. We have an amazing student body where students are learning, happy and safe. My students are; unfortunately, at the bottom of the rankings academically in both Math and ELA. My classroom has had a recent influx of students, not only from other countries, but are also English Language Learners. Though I may not speak their language, it is easy enough to speak sports and games in the gymnasium by modeling techniques for them.
My Project
At BEES Middle School, we look to bring out the best in all of our students. As a Physical Education Teacher, I am looking to create a baseball team for the next season.
Although we lack a full-sized gym and practice field, we do not lack in heart, determination or commitment.
Our students needs are forever changing, and this year they seek to play and compete in baseball. We will need to start from ground zero and ramp this up over time. We have a dedicated staff willing to show our students the skills necessary to be successful as a player.
