Help me give my students some energy during the day. we will not be going to the cafeteria this year and they will need to stay in the classroom the whole day.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am fortunate to teach in a wonderful school in the Bronx. We have a very diverse population of very hard working children. I love going to work everyday and making a difference. I am available to my students and their families 24/7 and often find myself texting parents that need help at 11:30 PM. I want these children to succeed in all they do and use as many tools as I possibly can. I am truly blessed to guide and teach our future!
My Project
Having to stay in one room for learning all day will be challenging. Children need energy to keep up their stamina and get the most out of learning! Many of them will not be bringing their own lunches from home and they don’t always like the standard school lunch! A little snack for some extra energy will go a long way! When children are hungry it’s very difficult for them to learn. They get headaches and just can’t focus. A small snack can make a big difference. Thank you 🙏
