My Students

DAR PatriotVision is dedicated to promoting sharing many of the positive activities at our school. Several dedicated students go above and beyond to provide the student body and the community a chance to stay informed about school activities through a weekly news webcast.

The dedicated PatriotVision crew members volunteer hundreds of after school hours to webcast team sports and school programs.

Because of the efforts of the PatriotVision crew student's family members are able to watch "once in a lifetime" important events. In May 2018 a family member stationed in Japan was able to watch the DAR graduation ceremony through a webcast.

My Project

With a teleprompter members of the DAR Patriotvision team will be able to gain valuable experience in using the same type of equipment that is used in broadcast news facilities. The student in front of the camera will learn how to deliver scripts while making eye contact with the camera. The editors will learn how to write scripts that inform the audience. And the camera operators will learn how to operate the teleprompter. Experience with this device is an item that is a resume enhancement that is sure to gain the attention of potential employers. Your support for this project will be appreciated.
