This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My cadets are majority low-income students that have joined JROTC with a desire to enter the US Armed Forces. With my experience of being in the military I desire to provide opportunities that will affectively prepare them to be globally competitive as they enter that next chapter. When my project is funded I will bring experiences beyond the four walls of our classroom and the outdoor environment of our small town into their view using virtual reality. They will be able to travel to some of the locations that the military will afford them.
