Help me give my students updated laptops that will give them accessibility to the ever-evolving digital world. New devices will enhance their technological skills and equip them with the right tools to be successful this school year.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am writing to you today with an important mission at hand, a mission that aims to uplift our students' technological skills and prepare them for the ever-evolving digital world. We believe in the transformative power of education, and more Importantly, the impact that advanced technology can have on a student's learning journey.
Our goal is to purchase new devices that will help our students enhance their technological skills.
My 5th-grade students are tired of working on broken-down computers with missing keys and outdated software. Why can't they have the same opportunities as other students? How is this equitable? With the rapid advancements in technology, it has become increasingly necessary for students to be equipped with the right tools that will help them keep up with this fast-paced world. It also provides equitable access for ALL students to be successful this school year in all content areas. These devices are not just laptops, but gateways to a world of exploration and creativity, and closer to each student's educational goals.
We need to allow our students' creativity to flourish far more than through pencil and paper. We understand that this is a significant endeavor, but we are confident that with your kind support, we can complete this mission. By investing in these tools, we are not just providing our students with laptops, but we are giving them the opportunity to develop critical skills, broaden their horizons, and prepare them for their next endeavor in middle school.
