My Students

My students are creative, love collaboration, and being challenged. They love to read and completing projects with their peers. They think outside the box and sharing their talents.

Providing my students with a variety of learning styles is my goal to engage all learners and allow them to succeed to the best of their ability.

Each child is different and excels given the right guidance. I want to provide these creative and hardworking students with the opportunity to learn new things in a variety of ways. They come with a thirst for knowledge and readiness to learn.

My Project

Junior Scholastic Magazine will teach my students about the world around them not just what they can see. These nonfiction articles build knowledge in U.S. and World History, geography, economics, and civics

Today's children need to learn about the world around them and understand our history in American.

Each informational text provides close-reading opportunities that prepare students for the types of questions they will encounter on language arts assessments. With these subscriptions students will be given interactive editions of the articles, games, and alternate reading levels. Videos are embedded in the articles to engage students and enhance instruction. Junior Scholastic helps bring the world into the classroom.
