My Students
My students are from a high poverty community. Their lives are full of chaos and uncertainty. These kids are energetic, spunky, and sweet.
By exposing them to the world that they live in will give them the opportunity to learn about positive and uplifting events that can inspire them to do something great.
I can't wait to explore Time for Kids with my special kiddos thanks to DonorsChoose.org and people like you. Every dollar counts towards the education of a child.
My Project
My students need this magazine to learn about the world. Living in a high-poverty area doesn't allow my students access to current events. As a class, we will explore all parts of Time for Kids and then create engaging conversations and lessons.
When students are given the opportunity to step out of the small world they live in, it gives them a new insight to the world they are a part of.
With everything negative that is going on in the world, Time for Kids shows positive and exciting events.
