Help me give my students the most magical gift of all: reading a book that illustrates to them how important their stories are and how boundless the possibilities are when they read!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help our brilliant and dedicated 2nd and 3rd grade students bring a magical book home with them! During our second annual Yes Day! honoring, remembering, and celebrating the beloved author, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, and her legacy of inspiration, we hope to send all of our students home with at least one amazing book! In addition to sharing some of Amy's most treasured books, we hope to share these two wonderful stories, written by Malcolm Mitchell, with our students! Malcolm Mitchell was inspired by Amy's book "Exclamation Mark,” and his books illustrate the gift of seeing oneself in the pages of a book as well as visiting magical worlds while turning the pages of a book! Please help all of our enthusiastic readers have their very own copies of these books to read again and again with their families!
