Bringing The Learning Into The Virtual Learning Experience.

My Students

These highly energetic rising 6th graders are more visually inclined and learn best when physical objects are accessible to help them make sense of problem-solving. I, therefore, desire to utilize effective best practice strategies that will allow me to meet their learning strengths and give them the best opportunity to continue to grow and develop in their conceptual understanding.

However, in these days of virtual learning, we must alter our teaching practice incorporate the innovations to technology to both accommodate their generational ability to manipulate technology and meet those visual learning tendencies.

I desire expand my prior technological threshold in efforts bring my students to a higher level of academic success.

My Project

Transitioning to middle school brings challenges even when it's not remotely/virtual. With remote learning, many students will experience an easier transition when the resources are top quality and provide minimum interruptions to their attention and enhanced lighting and visual capabilities.

I desire high quality technology that will help me to facilitate student-centered teaching and learning in a team-oriented virtual environment.

It is essential to have adequate flexibility and connectivity to enable my students to experience a high quality learning experience.

The Poly TC8 Video Conferencing Device 8 CDW-6 provides easy access to video conferencing. The single cable will carry power and data to reduce clutter and interruptions. This will allow me to connect with my students more effectively and provide the quality of communication that is necessary for meeting their learning needs irrespective to their remote locations. Also, this device provides an integrated calendar for making is more effective to connect to meeting and transition to my classes with minimum student waiting.
