My Project
Thank you for considering supporting Bringing the Happy to the Holidays! This project is designed to spread holiday cheer while fostering a love for reading among young learners in our high-need, Title I school community. Many of our students come from low-income households where access to books and other resources is limited. By providing them with beloved holiday classics such as Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Elf on the Shelf, we aim to make reading a magical and joyful experience that bridges the gap between school and home.
To make this experience even more exciting, we’re planning festive theme days to match the books, bringing the stories to life and filling the classroom with holiday fun.
These themed days, paired with engaging activities, motivate students to dive into the stories while making learning an adventure. We’re also welcoming a classroom elf to remind students of the importance of following rules and showing kindness. This playful and positive reinforcement not only creates a warm, supportive classroom environment but also adds an extra element of fun to their day.
These engaging activities and cherished holiday stories spark excitement for learning and make the classroom a place of joy and inspiration.
