This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my high school classes want to get stronger, be quicker and have fun being physically fit. They have asked for more football activities that have a ball that is not so hard. Some students are having a difficult time with official size footballs. I have a few gripper balls and everyone enjoys them and the activities that we do utilize them. Unfortunately, I only have four so we have to go to larger group activities. With more equipment, the students get more activity time and a better workout. They want to try rugby so I found the ball for that activity. The colored dodgeballs and pins are used for a team knockdown game (doesn’t involve hitting each other). This game I played at another school and it’s a hit. I’m very excited about this new equipment and seeing my students move more while enjoying it.
