it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students get musical instruments that bring rhythm, sound, and creativity into our classroom.
Young children learn so much through music—it builds language, math, memory, and self-expression, while also encouraging focus and teamwork.
With rhythm sticks, steel tongue drums, and chimes, my students will be able to experiment with creating sounds, keeping a beat, and playing together. These instruments are designed for little hands, making them accessible for all students, including those who may not yet have the words to express themselves. Music gives every child a voice, whether they are singing, tapping, or simply listening.
The rhythm sticks will allow students to practice patterns and coordination, the steel tongue drums will introduce them to melody and tone, and the chimes will provide a calming, meditative sound experience. Together, these instruments will turn our classroom into a space where children can explore sound, celebrate creativity, and build confidence through music.
