Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a speech therapist in a title 1 school it is difficult to receive materials needed to provide adequate speech therapy. With so many online resources available to speech therapist, I want to be able to use them during sessions with my students! Most of the children in speech therapy have ASD, ADD, ADHD and multiple sensory needs to focus.
Having a laptop for my students in my room will allow the students to use videos for movement breaks, breathing exercise videos, visual brain break videos and so much more!
Technology can be used in so many ways to benefit these children and allow them to access speech therapy through great websites/activities!
