Bringing Story Time to Life for Head Start Preschoolers!

My Project

These reading materials will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom storytime is a daily part of our schedule and my students really enjoy listening to different stories in new fun ways! I strive to bring excitement during every story time whether that be through different voices or types of books. Our classroom could really use new felt storytelling pieces and nonfiction books to help keep our storytelling more exciting and meaningful to my students!

With these new books and storytelling felt pieces, my students will be able to enjoy a more in depth love for reading while expanding their knowledge of the world.

They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these materials will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
