Bringing Sound to Student Projects!
My students need 12 headsets for multimedia projects with sound for high school computer science.
Knowledge of computers is knowledge for the jobs of computers. My students are enrolled in a high school computers science class to learn these skills.
I teach at an urban school in California.
My students, many of whom come from poor families are learning computer programming to train them for the jobs of tomorrow. They are working to get skills which are among the most in demand in the world and can help them succeed.
As part of my computer science program the students create multimedia projects, program games, and make ideas into creations. Unfortunately my lab has no speakers on students computers so students cannot hear as well as see their creations. With the twelve headsets, the students can use and hear sound in their projects, and even record their own voice.
In today's multimedia world, adding sound to the projects the students create will enhance creativity and greatly improve student interest.
They will take more pride in the finished project as a result!
