My Project
As an occupational therapist at a school with a multiple disabilities classroom, I strive to give these students the sensory input they need to be regulated and ready to learn.
Every student deserves to have their unique needs met when they are at school. This is especially important in a special education classroom, where there is a high variety in the level of participation. Items such as the weighted turtle, the pea pod, and the ball chairs will allow a diverse group of learners to be set up for success!
In order to make sure we are giving each student the best chance to access their education, we first need to get their bodies regulated and calm. Thank you for considering helping our amazing students!
