Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, science isn’t just something we read about — it’s something we experience. But to truly ignite curiosity and support deep understanding, we need tools that bring abstract concepts to life. That’s why I’m requesting a color printer and a landforms model for our science classroom.
The color printer will allow us to create vibrant visuals, anchor charts, and student materials that reflect the diversity and richness of the natural world.
Diagrams, vocabulary cards, and student projects come alive when presented in color, helping all learners — especially visual and English language learners — engage more deeply with the content.
The landforms model will give students a tangible, hands-on way to explore Earth's surface features. Instead of just seeing pictures in a textbook, students will be able to touch and interact with a physical model, deepening their understanding of how landforms are shaped and how they relate to weathering, erosion, and deposition.
