My students need two Vex Robotics super kits to allow more students access to robotics.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is very busy and the students are very energetic. They are moving from one experiment to the next all while taking notes. This year I will be starting a robotics program for my students after school. However, we only have one kit as of now and each kit can only handle about 6 students.
The students that I serve are underprivileged and in high poverty.
They are hungry for a good education. Students always request after school activities but those activities are hard to come by in a Title I school with little funds.
My Project
Students will use the requested materials to increase our club size to 18 from 6, and learn robotics. They will learn how to build, program, and control robots. Students will follow an actual curriculum built by Vex Robotics and free to the public. They will attend several competitions working toward attending the world Vex robotics championship.
Donations to this project will allow my robotics club to reach more children and change their lives.
They will learn skills that will take them through high school and college, and onto a career. Vex robotics is not just a simple robotics. It has several levels leading all the way through college levels.
