Help me give my students a cozy inviting space for reading their favorite library books. Our Library Bean bags have gotten flat from a lot of use. We just need Bean Bag filler to make them comfortable again.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a comfortable cozy place to sit and read makes the world of difference for our students. The students love for reading has been enhanced greatly with the bean bags in the library.
Students tend to be more engaged in their reading than students sitting at a regular chair and table.
They try harder to obey Library rules to be rewarded with the privilege to sit at a bean bag to read.
Since so many students have had a chance to sit on the bean bags to read, they have since become flattened through the years. We hope to be donated the bean bag filler we need to make these bean bags comfortable again for reading.
