This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning how to create object online and bringing them to life. They are learning to use meshmix which is a 3d modeling program and we want to be able to print out those items. My students are economically disadvantaged and come from a very small school. We do not get a lot of funding so it would mean a lot to have a 3d printer at our school where we can show off their talents. One example is that we have a really bright students when it comes to art. He has one numerous awards but we lack a lot of the items to showcase his skills. I would like to take that talent further by allowing him and others to create those 3d models, sand them, and paint them. This would mean so much to my students.
