Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher, I believe a peaceful and nurturing environment is essential for students to feel safe, focused, and motivated to learn. Unfortunately, my classroom is 65 years old and has seen very few updates over the years. The walls are bare, and the space lacks the calming atmosphere that would help students thrive.
With your support, I aim to transform our classroom into a serene, nature-inspired sanctuary.
I am requesting vinyl stickers that feature green healing leaves, trees, and plants to bring the outdoors inside. These calming visuals will help create a peaceful space for students to relax, focus, and feel connected to nature.
Research shows that nature can reduce stress and improve mental well-being, and by incorporating these soothing elements, I hope to foster an environment that encourages creativity, focus, and emotional balance. Every child deserves to feel comfortable and supported in their learning space, and with your generous donation, we can provide that for them.
