This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I brought the first music program to our school, I taught kids that never played an instrument before how to read music and be able to play their instruments.

It has always been my goal to make the program into a full big band type experience, like I had growing up.

With music being a proven enhancement to any students education.

The goal is not to turn away any student that has the desire to learn music just because of financial means to get their own equipment. This the need to provide as much as possible for the students, and keep the cost low for their parents.
