My Project
My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners who bring curiosity and creativity to our music classroom every day. They are eager to explore new ways of making music and love hands-on experiences that allow them to express themselves. As a Title I-funded school, many of my students face challenges outside the classroom, but they consistently show resilience and a passion for learning.
The 75 recorders I’m requesting will allow our fifth grade to develop essential music skills like reading musical notes, finger coordination, and listening.
Learning to play the recorder is a foundational experience that can spark a lifelong love of music. These instruments will also enhance their teamwork as they play together in harmony, building confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
My goal for this project is to provide each student with their own recorder, ensuring equitable access to learning. With this resource, I aim to foster creativity, discipline, and joy through music, inspiring my students to explore their potential and discover the beauty of musical expression.
