This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach General Music grades K-8 in a high poverty school as well as in a school that services a high special needs population.
My students are very interested in music as well as being interested in technology. We have the computers to use with out any music software to use with them.
The Groovy Music Series will be a great solution for extending and drawing more interest in music. The students are already using software programs to improve their reading skills. This program would be beneficial in developing their music skills as well as their creativity.
Your help will make my students realize there is more to music than pencil and paper. They will also realize that people believe in them and are willing to support the development of their music skills. Thank you for the chance in getting help for my school's music program!!!
