My Students

My students LOVE SCHOOL! They come in active and excited each day, hoping we are doing something that requires them to think outside the box. Working together, my PreK-8th-grade students solve real-world problems that help create stronger thinkers and independent learners.

I couldn't be prouder of my classes and the way they treat each other like one big, slightly silly, a family of engineers, mathematicians, and scientists.

They are curious and creative and they truly love exploring new ideas and concepts using STEM. My students are a truly remarkable group and I am so lucky to be their teacher!

My Project

As a STEAM -MakerSpace teacher, my students express themselves in a wide variety of ways... engineering toys and tools, creating sculptures, coding robots, and producing art, to name a very few. Many students want to sound mix music or create digital artwork for their projects but my room lacks regular access to even basic technology. We can occasionally borrow chrome-books from another classroom but this is sporadic, at best.

My students deserve the opportunity to express themselves in all their creative and artistic glory, including the digital arts.

They are an amazing representation of our future leaders and entrepreneurs... I am so excited to watch them grow their innate talents with the funding of this project!
