Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 5th grade in a title 1 school, with diverse learners. Some of my students are classified gifted while others were previously EL learners. My students understand that I will push them to be the best that they can, but while giving them support and making the learning fun.
My Project
When learning took place in the classroom, I used my document reader everyday, especially to model math strategies and to help with reading and writing activities. The document reader that I use in the classroom is old and discontinued so it doesn't connect with my computer at home, it only works with a projector. Please help me purchase a document reader that I can use from home while school is online. When we return to the classroom, this new model will be a great replacement for what I was using before.
