Help me give my students materials to bring their learning to life. The learning globe will allow students to get a better understanding of the world, and where other students live and learn.
The students in our room are quite amazing. They are so motivated to grow and take on new learning. We have 18 students in our classroom family, and they are very special little humans.
They are kind and supportive to each other, and are learning new strategies to help them persevere through challenges.
These students have made school a priority, and encourage each other to be at school, and ready to learn each day. I could not ask for a better group of kids!
My Project
We have adopted a new ELA curriculum in our district this year. There are 3 main topics that are covered in the 2nd grade curriculum; Schools Around the World, Paleontology, and Pollination. These materials would allow me to expand my classroom library, as well as bring their learning to life with real, hands on materials.These exciting topics are already very high interest to my students.
These materials would just add to this excitement and love of learning.
Students will be able to use the learning globe to see where students from around the world live in relation to us. The fossil examples would give them the chance to see first hand how plants and animals can be preserved through the fossilization process. This could be a real game changer for my classroom!
