Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need math manipulatives to increase their learning potential. In prek, students learn the most using hands-on activities. These activities will help my students to develop the learning skills needed to solve problems in their everyday lives.

Manipulatives like nuts and bolt counting and shape sorting will help my students develop not only math skills but expand their vocabulary and understanding to look at the world through a critical thinking lens.

Activities like the Squeeze, Scoop, and Count Ice Cream Shop help my students work on fine motor as well as math skills. My First Peg Pictures help the students develop social skills by asking friends for help and working on tasks together. Help my students increase their academic growth with these math manipulatives.
