This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting is to help bring some fun and smiles onto our student’s faces outside and inside our school building. Due to the fact that our school community is under-resourced, it would be very beneficial to students mental well-being to receive variety of educational toys. This would provide a space where the students can use their imagination. Additionally, the toys will be a good stress reliever for students. Some of our students are learning English for the first time and providing bilingual books will help them develop and improve their skills in reading and writing.
With your help, we can give our students the opportunity to learn and explore their creativity in the comfort of their own space.
