it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a special education teacher, I strive to make every child feel included, supported, and celebrated. Some of my students use wheelchairs and cannot access the traditional swings on our playground. That’s why I’m requesting the Skillbuilders Full-Body Reclining Swing with Universal Rope—a specially designed swing that accommodates children with limited mobility, allowing them to safely experience the joy and movement of outdoor play.
This swing will provide more than just fun—it will support sensory regulation, muscle engagement, and emotional wellness.
Outdoor movement can help my students focus better in class, feel more connected to their peers, and improve their overall well-being.
My students are kind, resilient, and full of joy. They deserve access to the same enriching play opportunities as every other child. My goal is to create a more inclusive playground space where every child, regardless of ability, feels seen and supported.
