My school is a great community of around 600 students and team leaders. Our school has a great amount of community involvement, but we lack the resources needed to ensure that all of our students get the best education experience possible. While our teachers do the best with what we have, it would be so nice to give our students the best of everything.
My students are superstars.
They take what they are given and make the best of any situation. Many students do not have the opportunity to have access to education resources, materials, and experiences as some other students. However, they fully immerse themselves in school in order to ensure they have a successful future.
My Project
This project has been specifically created to provide materials for my students to carry out specific service projects through the remainder of the school year. I have included a variety of materials and literature to use to teach important life lessons. The books will be used to help students connect with things that are happening in the world. The materials will be used to create works of service. Examples include using the fleece to make dog toys for the humane shelter, fabric for walker pockets for the elderly, and so much more! Allowing students to serve their community allows a lifetime of lessons to be learned!
