Bringing Japan to Life: Supplies for an Engaging Japanese Classroom

My Project

Making a Difference in Learning: These supplies (printer stickers, Bedazzler, paint trays, brushes, and more) will allow students to explore traditional Japanese arts, such as calligraphy and origami, which are integral to understanding the culture behind the language. By practicing calligraphy, students will not only improve their handwriting skills but also connect with the aesthetic aspects of Japanese writing. Origami will help develop their fine motor skills and encourage creativity, while also providing hands-on experience with cultural practices.

Goals for This Project: My primary goal is to provide students with a rich, culturally relevant curriculum that goes beyond textbooks.

I want them to feel inspired and excited about learning Japanese. By integrating these artistic and technological resources, I hope to cultivate their creativity, enhance their understanding of the language, and encourage collaboration through group projects. Ultimately, I aim for my students to develop not only linguistic skills but also a lifelong appreciation for Japanese culture.
