Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to explore hands-on ways of learning. They love taking what we learn in class and applying it to real-world projects. Many of them have not had access to advanced tools like 3D printing, and this is a chance to help them see their ideas come to life.

We are asking for donations to help us purchase 3D printer filament.

Our classroom already has access to a 3D printer, but we need the materials to actually use it! With filament, students can design, create, and print projects that connect to our lessons in math, science, and social studies.

Imagine students printing models of landforms during our geology unit, creating geometric solids to better understand fractions and measurement, or designing artifacts when we study history. These projects will allow them to combine creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving with what they’re learning in class.

3D printing allows students to test their ideas, see them in action, and improve on them. It gives them the confidence that they can be inventors, designers, and problem-solvers. With your support, we can provide students with the tools they need to make their learning more meaningful and engaging.
