This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I truly have the greatest students in the world. Even that is an understatement. This upcoming school year, I will be teaching history to 6th and 8th graders. Since I became a teacher, I have tried to empower my students to recognize that they, too, have the ability to change the world by learning from the past. By utilizing resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to teach differentiated approaches to history. I will be able to access graphic organizers, hands-on activities and use documents for extended writing pieces to ensure my students have an understanding and grasp of the historical topic I am teaching.
