My students need an iPad mini with protective cover to continue their project based research on a daily basis towards their projects for World Language Week and beyond.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students in each grade level are working on Service Learning projects to help introduce the language and culture of Japan to their peers during the upcoming World Language Week in May.
My students travel from all over Los Angeles, some walk to school and others ride buses, both school and public, to receive their education.
The students come from all walks of life contributing to the rich diversity that we have here at our school. Providing internet access to all students on a daily basis will enrich their learning.
My Project
Students will be collaborating on group projects to bring the language and culture of Japan to their peers at school during World Language Week in May. They have the use of an iPad cart once a week but they are in need of researching and updating their projects on a daily basis. Those students without internet access at home or without the use of a personal smart phone will be able to complete their assignments in class, where there are no working desktop computers for their use.
Your donation will directly help students gain access to the world and allow them to bring the world to their peers as well.
Not only will the students be able to discover and collaborate together on a daily basis, but your donation will enable students to fact check and even check their grades online so that they can be proactive about their progress in all their classes at school.
