My Project
My students are bright, curious, and eager future innovators! In the Computer Science Academy at Oakland Technical High School, computer science classrooms serving grades 9-12, they dive into everything from programming fundamentals to robotics, web design, data structures, and cybersecurity. They are passionate about technology and excited to learn the skills that will shape their futures.
Our school works hard to provide opportunities, but resources can be tight.
My students deserve access to tools that make learning dynamic and efficient. They thrive when they can collaborate, experiment, and see concepts come to life visually, which is essential in computer science. We are fortunate to have 10 Promethean ActivPanel 10 boards. Still, currently, we rely on connecting individual laptops, which can be slow, cumbersome, and prone to technical glitches, eating into valuable learning time.
