This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Imagine coming to work every day to be greeted by 18 little preschoolers who are full of energy and ready to see what preschool have to offer them. I teach in a Head Start center in which the classrooms are divided into several play centers (housekeeping, blocks, manipulative, science, writing center, art, library, easel, and sand/water play). These centers allow the students to learn through play, healthy play, which will reduce stress and open a child's imagination. Through play, the children learn and develop cognitive skills, physical abilities, new vocabulary, social skills and literacy.
My Project
This project will make a different for when the children return to school. We can talk about about it while we doing virtual about about the the things that we trying to get for a new is the same thing they have in their kitchen and ours will be used for make pretend play. It will help them pretend and engage with other peers while they pretending they cooking in a real life kitchen. To make this happen we need new safe and up to date dramatic play furniture and cooking utensils. The children will be exciting and delightful for these new materials. The children will be so exciting to have the baby supplies so when they at the restaurant they have somewhere to put the baby. This project will be more inviting for us all.
