This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our Spanish classroom, we work hard to connect language learning with the rich and diverse cultures of the world. However, to truly immerse our students in the language and its cultural contexts, we need more visual and tangible resources to bring these cultures to life.

Learning a language is not just about words and grammar; it’s about understanding and appreciating the people and cultures behind that language.

Providing my students with access to these cultural resources will allow them to see beyond the classroom walls and connect with the world more deeply. These materials will also spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster empathy as students learn to appreciate diversity. This will be very helpful as we study diversity.
