Bringing Color to the Classroom

My students need a color printer and card stock. We do a lot of interactive note booking.

My Students

This year we are teaching in teams. I teach reading, language, and writing to two classes of 22 students. My partner and I have two ESOL students in our classes. I have students who read on Kindergarten to seventh grade level. Our school district highly encourages partner and group work.

Our students are very technology driven.

My students love to get on computers to do research and classwork. They would love to be able to print it. Students love to be able to show off their work.

My Project

Having a color printer in our classroom, would make it so colorful and exciting. My students love to use task cards. I would love to be able to print them on card stock and have them year after year for my kids. We also work a lot in our interactive notebooks. This would help spruce up their notebooks. My students work together a lot doing research and partner work.

A color printer would help my kids to be able to print their work with excitement.

When students are excited to see what the end product of their hard work will look like, that makes work seem more fun than tedious.
