My Project
Mathematics is foundational for academic success and critical thinking. However, many students in grades K-5 struggle to stay on track. This is particularly true for students who are 2 to 3 years behind in math fluency and understanding.
Currently, our school provides ink only for printing black-and-white instructional materials.
While these are helpful, they lack the visual appeal that can make learning more engaging and effective. Research shows that visual aids and interactive materials can significantly enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
I already have a color printer, but the printer needs new color toner to utilize its capabilities and produce vibrant, attractive resources. To increase learning, we need color materials that are relevant and real-world applications that can be created in Canva.
I am requesting color toner cartridges to print colorful, engaging math game boards to encourage interactive learning. I know that creating visually appealing math images and making colorful diagrams readily available will increase learning motivation and yield high engagement which will increase student achievement.
Investing in colored toner will allow me to create dynamic math resources that inspire students to engage with and master essential math concepts. This project will transform math learning for our most vulnerable students, fostering a love for learning and building the skills the students I work with need for future success.
Thank you for considering this request to support our students' journey toward literacy and numeracy fluency.
