This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Inner city students rarely get the opportunity to play baseball, "America's Pastime". This project is to get some safe, and exciting resources to provide instruction, and development in this great sport! Our school was recently taken over by TEA, and we now how no access to funds for these kinds of resources for learning. We are in dire straight to provide these kids with something new and exciting for the Spring and Summer. The pitching machine and safe instruction balls will give these students hope that they can also get resources that other more fortunate schools receive to instruct. Our students need daily escapes, and deserve to have the opportunity to experience sports like baseball!
