My Project
At first glance, this project might look like it includes some random items—but every single one has a purpose! Each resource in this cart has been carefully chosen to help bring the magic and wonder of Ancient Civilizations to life for my 6th grade students.
Teaching history—especially Ancient Civilizations—is one of the most exciting parts of our school year.
From the fertile fields of Mesopotamia to the engineering marvels of Ancient Egypt, there are so many hands-on activities I want to do with my students to help them truly connect with the past. But I need your help to make that happen.
With your support, my students won’t just read about history—they’ll live it. They’ll become mini architects designing pyramids and bridges, engineers building ramps, and farmers experimenting with ancient agricultural methods. They'll create their own terra cotta pottery, experience early writing systems, and dive into the creativity and ingenuity of ancient peoples.
These experiences will spark curiosity, foster critical thinking, and inspire a deeper love of history. Your donation will help create a year filled with meaningful, engaging, and unforgettable learning.
